A Swedish startup had a product idea — a platform for competency, compliance, and permissions management —
but no team to validate it, build it, and bring it to paying clients.
For a startup, every month spent building the wrong thing is runway lost. The founders needed a partner who could
take the product from idea to a validated MVP quickly, and then scale it into a platform that enterprise clients
with strict security and data governance requirements would trust.
Challenge
- Unvalidated business idea. The concept had to be tested with real clients before committing to full product development.
- No in-house engineering. The startup needed end-to-end delivery: specifications, architecture, development, and support.
- Enterprise-grade expectations. Target clients required custom security, data governance, and integration with their existing systems.
Solution
DevRain helped define the MVP scope, build the MVP, and validate it with the first clients.
After the MVP was validated, we identified the product scope for version 1.0 and helped deliver
it to the clients. This collaboration is still in progress, and we are helping to evolve the product
and set up integration with enterprise clients with custom security and data governance requirements.
DevRain covered the full delivery cycle: specifications and PoC, solution architecture, development process,
integrations, delivery, support, and client systems integration.
The product is a multi-tenant cloud SaaS platform with the following components:
- Dashboard (Web)
- Mobile applications for iOS and Android
- Microsoft Teams bot
- Digital Signage solution (TV screens)
- AI assistant for company employees
The platform integrates with Microsoft Entra, Office 365/SharePoint Online, Firebase,
Apple Push Notification services, and Microsoft Teams.
